We should make them thin straight: CAROLE RADZIWIL is not a genuine Real Housewife. In 1999, Radziwill lost her spouse, Anthony (child of Lee Radziwill; nephew of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis) to cancer, only three weeks after the grievous passing of her closest companion, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and her spouse, John F. Kennedy Jr, and additionally Bessette’s sister Lauren. The award winning journalist got the pieces and went ahead to distribute a memoir, What Remains, a New York Times blockbuster. Prior to the release of Radziwill’s second book (now on its second run) The Widow’s Guide to Sex and Dating, Andy Cohen offered her a spot on The Real Housewives of New York City. Needless to say, Radziwill acknowledged, and the rest is firmly altered history.

“I don’t watch reality television,” says Radziwill when we meet at her sprawling West Village home. “If I do watch anything like Housewives, it’s just to check whether they have preferred lighting over us, or altering. Atlanta and Beverly Hills were off the charts.” But Radziwill needn’t bother with key lights to sparkle; she has the gleam of somebody with an extremely healthy adoration life. Her beau of very nearly a year, culinary expert Adam Kenworthy, seems now and again with a juice, and they shaft at each other with the adoration of another relationship.
